We’re thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the Budweiser Hole-in-One Scramble on Saturday, September 14th, 2024. The tournament promises not only a fun-filled day of competitive golf but also the opportunity to win big prizes, with a £5,000 jackpot on offer for anyone skilled enough to hit a hole-in-one.
The scramble format, often favoured for its team-oriented approach, will see golfers competing in teams of four. With play starting from white tees, each team member is required to contribute a minimum of two drives. Scoring will be based on a 10% combined handicap system, ensuring that teams have a fair shot at taking home top honours regardless of skill levels.

The highlight of the event is undoubtedly the chance to win £5,000 for a hole-in-one, which is available on each of the three par-3 holes: the 2nd, 3rd, and 11th. This enticing prize has added extra excitement to what is already expected to be a competitive day on the course.
Participants are drawn from a wide range of golfers, including club members, Players Card holders, and invited guests. Entry fees are structured to cater to all levels, with members paying £10, Players Card holders paying £20, and guests invited to join the action for £30.

Beyond the competition, the event is designed to be a sociable and entertaining day out. Our clubhouse will be in bustling after the tournament, with all players treated to a classic hotdog and a Budweiser, reinforcing the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for which Chiddingfold Golf Club is known.
