Golf at Chiddingfold

Our Story

The 12-hole layout has already delighted Chiddingfold regulars since its launch. We have maintained players’ favourite holes and added some new ideas to the course presentation.

The 12 Hole format

Chiddingfold Golf Course

12 Hole Golf

12 holes fits in extremely well and more or less follows the original course with some really interesting changes and avoids the serious hills around the finish of the course. The opportunity to play 12,18, 24 or even 36 holes will be an option.

Why 12 holes?

We are not the first 12-hole course. The British Open was originally played at Prestwick over a 12-hole course designed by Old Tom Morris!

In fact, the great Jack Nicklaus has recently opened a 12-hole course in America to encourage new players who maybe don’t always have 4 hours to spare!

In recent times, the 12-hole format has been famously endorsed by many golf luminaries, including Paige Spiranac.

Great value golf

The new 12-hole format still provides great value and lots of opportunities for society golf. The 19th Hole hospitality will be better than ever with the best chefs and new menus.

Our philosophy

Our philosophy is a long way from the traditional golf club model, with our focus being on having fun with great value and hospitality with no captain, committees, or unnecessary rules.

Jack Leask is our Operations Manager and first point of contact. Scott Brown is focussed on the academy and driving range, offering lessons to players of all standards.
